The 4 Horsemen
Revelation 6:7 - 6:8 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a pale green horse; and he that sat on him was called Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, and that they (the four horsemen) should kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
If you've seen us before, you still may not understand what it is that you're watching.. We are a group of strong black men fated to meet, Fall 2008, at Hampton University. Our friendship is bonded in our MUTUAL DETERMINATION, strong belief in INDIVIDUALISM, and our greatest attribute, our ability to make any situation FUN for EVERYONE. We, Griffset "The Bizness" Matlock, Areo Saul "The Creator" Mccoy, J-O "SoCincinnati" Harris, and Damarkis "The D Man" Boone, are commonly known for partying hard, working hard, showing love, and being ourselves... Basically, being outstanding representations of college students is what we do best.
Mythologically the 4 Horseman are a team who bring with them blind anger, hunger, war, and destruction. We adopted the name because we are 4 men seeking exactly the opposite with an equal rigor and determination. Peace, Perspective, and "Afro-Progress" are what we intend to achieve through our lives and at HU. There is nothing we enjoy more than watching other people work, party, and succeed together. This must start with love, comfort, and individualism. We each reside, for the most part, in our own world, which is why we seem xtra crazy to some...its simply because we cannot see your screw face lol... I should say, we see you hiding timidly inside. So, in response, we act out to show you it is OKAY to be your silly self, dance to your favorite song, or shout hello to a good friend across the SC, and no one will throw their gucci loafer at you..(there is nothing wrong with designer clothing).
Quite simply, The type of Collegiate Utopia that HU should be cannot exist until there is respect for humanity, and when being yourself (NOT being the same) is the cool thing to do. And so we Gift to YOU, This here blog of REAL LIFE and REAL LOVE! We hope you enjoy!
